This set includes four separate books, one for each of the following sight words: el, la, las, and los. In each book, students write the target sight word on each page as they read the mini-book. They can then decorate the pictures to make the book their own. Each book is 10 pages long. Directions for assembling the mini-books are included.

These sight word books are perfect for use during guided reading or, once students are familiar with the process, for an independent reading station. After writing the sight word on each page, students may wish to highlight syllables that they recognize, words they can read, letters they are studying, etc.
Once completed, students can read the books to their family, to their peers during partner reading times, or to themselves or a stuffed animal during silent reading time.
