Description

These FREE short vowel task cards are the perfect way to get your students up and moving, practice reading CVC words, and having fun! There is no prep necessary - just print, cut, and go! These cards are perfect for use as a center or station during small groups.

INCLUDED IN THIS RESOURCE:

CVC Beginner Cards - Students look at the picture, read the words (multiple choice), then write the correct word on the recording sheet.

CVC Advanced Cards - Students look at the picture then SPELL and write the word on the recording sheet.

*All cards come in color and black and white.

When can I use this activity?

  • Hang the cards in the back of the room and use as a literacy center or station during reading groups.
  • Use as a whole group activity after learning the phonics pattern.
  • Tape each card to a ruler and put them around the school building! My students love going outside to read/write the PLAYGROUND!
