Description

**There is an updated, editable version of this PowerPoint quiz here: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Learning-Styles-Quiz-Editable-Format-282519

The editable format has pictures and animations on every slide that this view-only does not. THE PICTURES ABOVE represent the updated, editable version.

This PowerPoint contains a 13 question quiz that is used to identify individuals' main learning style: Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic, or a combination. I enjoy using this at the beginning of the school year (usually within the first week) in order to have a discussion about how many students in the class will prefer to learn in a different way from that of students around them. Therefore, I discuss how a teacher must use many different strategies to help all students learn. I emphasize that sometimes a student might not like/need a certain strategy, but that many of his/her peers will benefit from it and vice versa for other techniques. Therefore, students need to patiently understand why the lessons will be represented in a number of different forms. This 18 slide PowerPoint includes a short slide that has students set up their paper, 13 questions, a slide describing how students can share their style with their peers/teacher, and a description of strategies to help the specific styles learn new information and study.

I did not create the questions for the quiz. These are available online for free. I adapted the quiz into this PowerPoint presentation.

**This format is view-only. I have a ppt version available for $2.50**
