Description
This two-part activity starts with a one-page biography of the life of Emperor Shi Huangdi. It discusses how he came to power, the coup against him initiated by Lao Ai, how he unified China, the Great Wall, the Terracotta Army, and the system he put in place, legalism. It is a great way to cover a lot in a little bit of time. Key terms or words are in bold and can be discussed further in class if you would like.
The second part is a 4 stations activity with questions on the contributions of the Qin Dynasty. An answer key is provided for both.
