After students read about her accomplishments as a pioneer marine biologist, they can collaborate to create a Classroom Quilt activity. This resource works great along with read alouds such as, Shark Lady: The True Story of How Eugenie Clark Became the Ocean's Fearless Scientist, or other stories written about her, but can also be used alone using the reading passage included for background.
