Great Women's History reading project! My third grade class completed this activity along with one on Jane Goodall! They LOVED it!

Description

Engaging activities & bulletin board about Marine Biologist Eugenie Clark! Your students will learn all about this woman scientist and the discoveries she made! After students read about her accomplishments as a pioneer marine biologist, they can collaborate to create a Classroom Quilt activity. Finished writing and quilt will showcase your students' work and look amazing on your bulletin board.

This resource works great along with read alouds such as, Shark Lady: The True Story of How Eugenie Clark Became the Ocean's Fearless Scientist, or other stories written about her, but can also be used alone using the reading passage included for background. Great for STEM lessons, Women's History Month, Asian American Heritage Month (Eugenie was Japanese American) or anytime during the year! Low prep and engaging!
