Shades of Meaning Bundle - Using Synonyms to increase Vocabulary

Working with synonyms gets students thinking about their word choices in writing and in daily conversations. The results are -- an increased VOCABULARY! Increasing students vocabulary is a goal at ALL levels. My first graders love using the cards and by the end of the year they all have their favorite 'big' word from one of the cards which they love to use!

These 3 packets include 28 word cards including:

9 'shades of meaning' cards for how to say 'said'

12 'shades of meaning' adjectives cards

7 'shades of meaning' verbs cards

That makes 120 adjectives, 72 words for said, and 70 verbs!
