Seven Modern Perspectives of Psychology Case Study - Google Doc Activity

After spending a few years boring students with lecture notes on the 7 modern perspectives, I designed this activity that was specifically designed to introduce students to the 7 modern perspectives of Psychology in an engaging and efficient manner. This Google Doc analysis activity/lesson uses a 7-minute PSYCHademia video along with a provided graphic organizer to have students explain glossophobia (fear of public speaking) through the lens of each modern perspective. From there, students complete a small matching assessment, and then apply several perspectives to a fun case study.

This lesson can be used as a first introduction, flipped-lesson, extension activity/assignment, or review of the modern perspectives. Students will find this engaging and effective.
