Sequencing: Understanding Sequence of Events - No Prep

Sequencing and understanding the sequencing of events is a common core standard. Do your students need to understand or practice putting sentences or stories into the correct sequence? Or learning about transitional words or phrases, these activities are for you! These activities are comprehensive and challenging for your students. It’s always important to challenge students so that they continue to learn and be better. All you have to do is print and go!

These activities range from reading paragraphs and putting them into the correct order to reading sentences and putting them into the correct paragraph order. One activity offers a short paragraph and answering questions about the sequencing of the events in the story.

These activities are great for in-class use, homework, or group work. I created these activities to help my students and I know they will help yours.
