Description

Practice counting, subitizing and sequencing with this fun and engaging interactive number sense PowerPoint game for whiteboards and computers. Perfect for math centers or for projecting onto your whiteboard for the whole class to play. Students must figure out the answer to the counting question and then touch the super bee that is carrying the answer. If correct, the bee will cheer and spin. Your students will love the fun super bee characters, animations and sounds and will forget that they are learning!

This game contains 62 questions to practice counting and subitizing. The questions are divided into five sets that you can select from the main menu:

Set 1: 12 questions to practice counting to 10 using a ten frame.

Set 2: 12 questions to practice counting from 11 to 20 using two ten frames.

Set 3: 18 questions to practice subitizing to 10 using a ten frame.

Set 4: 10 questions to practice filling in a missing number between 0 and 10

Set 5: 10 questions to practice filling in a missing number up to 20

This product is a PowerPoint file and requires PowerPoint software.

For PC: PowerPoint 2003 or newer is required in order to play this game.

For Mac: PowerPoint 2011 is required in order to play this game.

Designed for SmartBoard and computer use, there are several ways that you can use this game in your classroom or at home.

How to Play

Whole Class Competition

Divide the class into several teams and have one team member come up to the SmartBoard to answer a question. If they get it correct, give their team a point. Keep track of points on a blackboard, whiteboard or piece of paper. Decide before you start the game how many points are needed to win the game.

Whole Class or Small Group Review

Have one student at a time come up the SmartBoard to answer a question.

One or Two Players

Start the game on a computer or on the SmartBoard and allow the student(s) to play for a certain length of time.
