September 11th ( 9/11 ) Patriot Day Activity: Honoring Heroes on Land and Water

There are many heroes who saved many lives on September 11th, 2001. One of the lesser known heroes are the sailors who came together to save hundreds of thousands of people. Through this resource students research about these heroes and learn about what happened on 9/11.
