Description

Self-Regulation Stoplight Posters

3 different versions with different writing on them

Great visual for students to learn how to self-regulate their emotions and feelings. Three different color zones of regulation: Green zone, yellow zone, red zone. Green means calm, yellow means I am beginning to feels dysregulated, and red means I have lost control of my emotions and my body. In each zone, there are specific thoughts and feelings we have, but ultimately, we do NOT want end up in the RED ZONE. Our brains are unable to focus, learn, or work in this zone, so we need to walk away and calm down before we return to our work or learning or problem-solving. Yellow means we need to think about whether we feel calm enough to problem-solve or walk away to calm down before we problem-solve.

Can be used with Conscious Discipline or Zones of Regulation.
