Description
This lesson concentrates on educating the students on why they may have self-esteem issues and ways to overcome it. A special section on how to stop judging yourself and others. There are 7 self-esteem activities to choose from, as well as an assessment and answer key. Clip art, printables, no prep needed.

CDC HEALTH STANDARD FOUR: Students will demonstrate the ability to use interpersonal communication skills to enhance health and avoid or reduce health risks
Learning outcomes:
The student will learn what "self-esteem" is.
The student will understand the different ways to help them learn to have self-esteem
The student will realize why self-esteem and body image are important
The student will learn that judging your own looks and those of others is destructive
The student will understand the concept of "self-confidence" and why it matters
7 "self-esteem" activities to choose from, including "10 positive self talk statements," A "Confidence Challenge," and "Self Esteem Check Up."
