Cluster 1: Our Local Community
This unit focuses on what makes a community, natural resources, culture & heritage, leadership, and Remembrance Day.
Cluster 2: Communities in Canada
This unit focuses on two different communities in Canada: Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and Iqaluit, Nunavut. You can study both communities or just focus on one.
Cluster 3:The Canadian Community
This unit focuses on Canadian symbols, historic influences, diversity, needs and choices, and global connections.
Each unit in the bundle comes with two files--a PDF version and an editable PowerPoint version. If you teach Social Studies in another language (German or French perhaps?) you can edit the text boxes on the student pages to meet your needs. The teacher information pages are not editable, but all the student pages are! You do need to have PowerPoint in order to edit the file.
