This grade book contains all of the Common Core standards divided up by subject area, strand and then standard. It contains, reading, writing, listening, speaking and math. If you use a standards based report card, you will find this tool makes your job so much easier. It saves you time and energy by keeping all of your student data in one neat and organized location. Write your student names along the left hand side, standards and strands are along the top, and lastly, you write in the assessment name and date at the bottom. There is enough room for 21 student names, for more spaces print each page twice.

This document is designed to be printed on legal paper, but you can print it on standard letter paper if you change the settings in your print menu. The reason it is meant for legal size is so that there is ample room for several assessments to be written in throughout the year. Simply save your file once you type in your data for easy use and access. There are also multiple standards per page so it is easy to see student progression with an entire strand. This also saves you from having a grade book that is the size of a dictionary, all standards fit onto 19 pages.
