What educators are saying

My students absolutely love the idea of scavenger hunts! They hardly even notice that they are still practicing skills as they play!
I really like the quality of this product. My students found it engaging. As a special education teacher, I appreciate that this item is at a lower level, but does not "look" it.

    Description

Engage your students during Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer with our interactive scavenger hunt puzzle and response sheets BUNDLE! Perfect for reading comprehension, your students will learn about each season and its special events. The completed puzzle posters will brighten your classroom walls or bulletin boards. The End of the Year puzzle poster is a great way to celebrate a fantastic school year and help your students to remember it forever!

Engage your students' artistic flair with the wide range of activities provided in this resource bundle.

    Activity Purpose:

The purpose of this resource is to provide an interactive and engaging way to learn about Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer and the events, folklore, and themes surrounding each season. These activities involve reading comprehension strategies such as cloze reading, visualizing, organizing information, and finding specific details.

As students read the fact cards and/or their response sheets, they have to hunt for information. This information-seeking process will involve reading and re-reading of the clue cards. The activity, therefore, mirrors the close reading skills you will be teaching your students throughout the year.

The students then synthesize their knowledge and understanding using the puzzle activities.
