Seasonal Syllables Sorts and Word Building Worksheets BUNDLE | Orton Gillingham

This fun Seasonal Syllables bundle includes SIX different sets for working with all six syllable types. The printable worksheets include several different syllable sort pages that require kids to sort syllables, build words, spell the words, then write a story. They can also color the picture, which makes it extra fun! Sorts may vary some among the sets but generally include several different options (closed or open syllables, closed, open, and silent E, or all six syllable types. There will also be one sort for one-syllable words in each set. Most sets also include syllable and word cards for additional practice.

These activities are great for any students working with syllables (first grade, second grade, third grade, intervention groups, or Orton-Gillingham students). All activities are aligned with the science of reading and help to build decoding skills, automatic word recognition, and spelling.
