What educators are saying

I really enjoyed this resource. It was easy to follow and my students loved it. I teach 8th grade physical science.
This is perfect for testing to get students to practice science skills! And the experiment breakdowns are perfect to practice that SEP in a time crunch.

    Description

SAVE 25% OFF LIST PRICES! Build foundational SCIENCE SKILLS such as experiment design, graphing, and data analysis!

This bundle includes 8 worksheets that give your students structured support to practice these skills. Use in a scientific method unit, throughout the school year to reinforce skills, or as emergency sub plans. Each worksheet is a stand-alone lesson, so this set of resources can be used at the same time or completely independently of each other.

Please click VIEW PREVIEW (above) to see more detail of every included resource.

    This Bundle Includes:

    • 3 Experimental Design Worksheets: Support students' understanding of the scientific process as they deconstruct 3 interesting experiments. Students practice writing experimental questions, forming hypotheses, identifying variables, data analysis, and drawing conclusions.

    • 2 Scaffolded Line Graphing Lessons: Students practice making line graphs, including choosing intervals, labeling axes, and writing graph titles. Students will pull data from a line graph and use data as evidence to support conclusions. The first worksheet provides more graphing support while the second allows for more independent graphing practice.

    • 3 Scaffolded Bar Graphing Lessons: Students practice making bar graphs, including choosing intervals, labeling axes, and writing graph titles. Students will pull data from a bar graph and use data as evidence to support conclusions. The worksheets are designed to be used in a series as each one provides less scaffolded graphing support than the previous one.
