Science of Reading Centers Bundle - Phonics & Phonemic Awareness Activities

This phonics and literacy centers bundle contains 12 months of hands-on phonics and phonemic awareness activities for Science of Reading practice. These centers align with the Science of Reading skills to help kindergarten and first grade students master their word attack skills.

These centers can be used as:

• Supplemental activities for phonics and phonemic awareness
• Literacy centers
• Intervention Tools
• Literacy skill review
• Hands-on engagement during ELA centers
• Spiraling review of RF: Reading Foundational Skill standards
• Partner activities
• Small group work

Skills Progression:

The skills begin easier in the year and progressively get harder as the year progresses. Skills such as letter naming and letter identifying will occur in August, whereas comprehension and fluency may happen in May. Many of the skills will repeat from month to month for practicing purposes.

Each early literacy activity pack brings you 10-12 different activities to help struggling students. The 12 intervention activities cover intervention activities for struggling students.
