Science Tools - Hands-On Scavenger Hunt Centers / Stations & Test (Common Core)

This is one of my favorite lesson of the year! It's not enough to tell the kids about the tools and show them, they need to use them!!

With this activity students will get hands on experience with common science tools. I put them in groups and set up the different stations with the materials for them to complete each task. They LOVE it!

There are two different ones to use with different levels. I've always taught third grade and used the harder sheet but had to simplify it for my 2nd grade class this year! You can also differentiate within your class.

The packet also includes a test to use at the end of the tools unit.
