Description
From my personal experience teaching elementary grades, there is never enough time for reading or science. This lesson integrates science content into a way for students to practice fluency and reading skills. It not only has science vocabulary about the planets but also uses challenging everyday words for students to learn.
This file has a 6-character script (for small group) and a 10-character script (for a larger group) that tells the story about how Pluto is not longer considered a planet as told by other planets and the moons of Jupiter.
