Science Investigation EDITABLE Rubric for Grades 4-8

This science investigation rubric follows the Scientific Method and covers six areas: Question, Prediction, Materials, Plan, Data Collection and Display, and Conclusion. It is set up so that you can easily grade your students' science investigations. Since this resource is not saved in a PDF form, you can change the grading system by simply downloading the rubric and inserting your own.

It is based on a four point grading system:

3 = Exemplary

2 = Proficient

1 = Needs Improvement

0 = Needs to be Revised
