Going deeper into nonfiction texts is essential to student mastery of common core standards. Look no further than these differentiated reading passages and comprehension questions. In this product, there are informational reading passages based on the Georgia third grade science standards! If your classroom is like mine, there are readers all over the spectrum, yet it is vital that all students understand these important concepts. I've created each passage on three different reading levels to make differentiation much easier. There are also rigorous comprehension questions included for each. These are written with third grade in mind, but could easily be adapted due to the different levels the text is written at. Also, please note that while these topics cover Georgia's standards, they would be great informational reading practice in general!
