School Rules and Bus Safety Unit Kindergarten

Bus safety, classroom rules, and school safety are all covered in this 10 day kindergarten inquiry Social Studies Unit.

All lessons are inquiry-based and aligned to the latest NYS Common Core Social Studies standards. Literacy skills are also embedded within the lessons, but are not the focus.

A compelling question guides the unit and supporting questions help students to focus their knowledge and build to a greater understanding. Students are working on higher level thinking skills and building vocabulary. All activities are appropriate for fall in kindergarten.

This unit was designed and tested by 3 kindergarten teachers. Any and all updates in the future to this unit are included in the cost.
