School Counselor Signs: 8 Words to create a Character Vocabulary Wall

As school counselors we are often working on helping our students understand complex concepts such as self-control or empathy. These skills build leaders and confidence in students. This "word wall" can be put on the wall, a bulletin board, hallway, or on a ring for reference. If you create a bulletin board, a great title is Leaders Are... or Learn to Lead... or Are You...???

Either way it is a great tool for building character and something you will use OFTEN.

Each word comes in four different colors. Words are carefully defined so that students can understand and begin to self-assess their skills.

Respectful
Cooperative

Proactive
