Introduction to Scholarly Pursuits- Posters

This is a set of 10 kid-friendly classroom posters introducing students to the concept of "Scholarly Pursuits"- based on Sandra Kaplan's research in gifted education. Scholarly Pursuits are often used in the field of gifted education, yet are extremely helpful to all students, especially those lacking many models of successful student-learner behavior.
Posters are intended as classroom decor, prompting students and teachers to remind themselves of the attributes of a scholar.

May also be used to introduce students to the attributes, though in less detail than in similarly titled powerpoint counterpart.

This presentation is sold as is, and can be combined with several of our other activities to bring the "Scholarly Pursuits" into the classroom. Posters may be printed 8 ½ by 11, or may be taken to printers to be blown up (up to a certain size, it can be reasonably priced, even in color) *if you intend to take them somewhere and have them printed, bring them on a flash drive or cd and save your printer's ink.
