This product has so much to offer! This book by Melanie Watt could work in the regular classroom and even in P.E! I hope you love the engaging activities this product has to offer! Vocabulary Cards and quick activities to learn the key words directly from the story. Description Match the tools Scaredy used in the story, students will have to read the text features and infer each description in this activity! A poster and recording sheet can be used to teach students how to check their own pulse or heart rate. Students can research some of our body's systems with the graphic organizer as well. I have included prompted questions to help guide their research. After all of the previous activities, students can then answer the writing prompt with text evidence and elaborations from their research. Did I mention that all pages are designed to be either printable or digital? My students love Scaredy so much, and this is a great way to engage them in learning!
