Description

Help! Santa is Stuck in my Chimney~ Creative Writing Prompt

This resource provides a:

-Planning Page

-Word Referents brainstorming page with answer key included.

-(3) different final product writing templates for the student to write the finished product on.

-A directed drawing activity

-(2) chimney templates to choose from

-(2) student samples to show final product possibilities.

Put it all together and you have the PERFECT bulletin board display!

This can be used for all grade levels. For the upper grades, you would just give specific directions to produce your paper in paragraphs with topic sentences, an introduction, and a conclusion.

For the lower grades, they could brainstorm different ways, and then write a sentence or two on how he/she would get Santa unstuck from their chimney!

For the older grades, an introduction, 3 ways to attempt to get Santa out (the 3rd one works), and a conclusion paragraph.

What a GREAT holiday activity to incorporate into the classroom!

Key Words: Holiday, creative writing, Santa, Christmas, prompt, problem solution, creative writing prompt, Santa activity, worksheet, printable, art activity, Santa’s Stuck, character education, word referents
