Ideas for activities to go along with this presentation:

  • Students can make Holiday Cards and/or Holiday Art
  • Students can write a letter to someone for whom they are grateful
  • Students can list the things and the people that they are grateful for in their lives
  • Students can write a holiday poem-- complete with sensory language and holiday themes (brainstorm holiday items and holiday sensory language beforehand)
  • Students can research and present to the class about an aspect of the Christmas Holidays -- the tradition of mistletoe, for example.
  • Students can bring a holiday treat or develop a holiday menu
