Same & Different: A FUN PowerPoint Game To Teach Compare and Contrast

This is a FUN, Interactive PowerPoint game to teach and practice Comparing and Contrasting. The PowerPoint is set up like a game show. You can form up to six groups to play this game. Each group will be introduced to two objects and they will work together to find ways to compare and contrast the two objects. Rules are in place to keep groups working cooperatively and quietly until it is time to reveal their answers.

This PowerPoint incorporates animations and sounds to make the game fun. Each slide contains notes on how to play the game and helpful hints. The notes can be viewed while the PowerPoint is not in "Slideshow" view, in other words you can read the notes and learn how to play the game prior to introducing it to the class. While the game IS being played in class, in Slideshow view, the notes will not be visible.

This game encourages EVERY student to participate and work cooperatively. My students absolutely LOVE playing this game and have definitely learned the concepts of Compare and Contrast!
