Description

This fun Saint Patrick's Day reading activity is perfect for March. Students will enjoy reading this Saint Patrick's Day Readers' Theater script with their classmates. The script has parts for 10 readers, but a smaller group could easily read this script also... simply assign students multiple parts.

The script consists of seven pages. The first four scenes alternate between a human family (Katie, Max, Grandpa, & Grandma) building leprechaun traps and a leprechaun family (Trixie, Tripp, Mom, & Pops) preparing to go out into the world and search for gold. In the fifth and final scene, the two families' stories intersect in an interesting twist!

********This resource is available in TWO FORMATS:

  1. TRADITIONAL PRINTABLES- Print the PDF and distribute paper copies to your students to complete.
  2. TPT EASEL ACTIVITY- This colorful digital option allows you to save paper. Students read the script from a device. Plus, students can highlight their lines with the highlighting tool!
