STEM Posters-Engineering Design Process
- PDF
Description
The engineering design process for kids made simple! This resource includes a full-size poster (8.5 x 11 in. for easy printing) for the class & individual size (3x5 in.) posters for your students. Both posters are provided in color and black & white. They can be used with ANY STEM lesson.
Ways to Use Posters:
Laminate the small student posters as a handout to accompany your STEM lessons. Have students paste one into their engineering notebook or binder as a reference tool. You can even use them as a student checklist during a STEM project to make sure students are on task and using their time wisely.
These engineering design process posters can be used for getting your students to understand that the engineering design process can go up and down just like a ladder. Students think once they plan and test they're done! However, we all know that when completing STEM challenges our first attempt is usually not the correct, or best, solution. This resource helps students see that going back to replan, redesign, and retest are okay and part of the engineering design process.
