STEM Career Lesson Aligned to 5th Grade Science

This activity is great for the first day of school, to introduce what types of Scientists are out there, and particularly, what types of scientists relate to what fifth graders would be learning! This lesson has two slides for teacher information regarding lesson set-up, follows with four stations featuring different 3-4 minute clips while students take notes on a graphic organizer (be sure to check that out in my store), and then come back together for a debrief of the careers and how they relate to fifth grade concepts. This is based on the NC Science Essential Standards.
