What educators are saying

I am so impressed with this product! It contains so much, and is very user friendly. My students loved this experiment and enjoyed the fun worksheet as well. I can't wait to get more STEAM products here!

Description

Ready for a fun, winter activity that incorporates STEAM, SEL, and sensory play? Let’s bring the snow indoors where it’s nice and cozy and your students can play with it for hours! Making homemade snow is warm, moldable, and non-staining. Better yet, it’s extremely simple!

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) investigations encourage students to explore real-world problems, collaborate, and think critically. This investigation seamlessly blends science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. We’ve meticulously designed engaging activities that align with STEAM standards.

Included Pages:

Investigation Overview

Start here before you begin your STEAM investigation. You will read the experiment overview, find necessary materials, teacher directions, as well as a troubleshoot section.

STEAM Investigation Student Handout

This is the handout you will give your students to hold them accountable for their learning as well as have them go through the scientific method with their group. This sheet will give them the opportunity to make a hypothesis and record their data.

Student Handout Answer Guide

Following the student handout there is an answer guide. Notice how I said guide rather than key because during a STEAM investigation we want to encourage students to make their own hypotheses and observations without being penalized.
