    Description

    This bundle of easy, low to no prep Spring theme speech and language activities is just the thing to help you beat those end-of-school-year-burnout blues with coloring, dot marker, and playdough pages galore! This bundle includes bug and raindrop articulation crafts with all sounds included, and two Spring language sets that target some of your most common early language goals for preschool and kindergarten such as following directions, basic concepts, categories, object functions, WH questions, pronouns, and vocabulary! You can use these all throughout Spring, any time you're in a pinch from March through May or even June, and by placing playdough pages in page protectors, you don't even have to laminate anything! Themes throughout the set include bugs, weather, gardening, and animals.

    RAINDROP SPEECH SOUND CRAFT

    -9 background scenes to choose from (3 black and white, 3 color versions with kids, 3 itsy bitsy spider-themed),

    -Raindrops with target words to color, cut, and glue onto the scene (10 raindrops per phoneme per word position; all sounds included except vocalic /r/; 30 each for s blends, l blends, and r blends

    -Blank raindrops to write in your own targets

    BUG SPEECH SOUND CRAFT

    -2 background scenes to choose from (both black/white; 1 boy and 1 girl)

    -Bugs with target words to color, cut, and glue onto the scene (10 bugs per phoneme per word position; all sounds included except vocalic /r/; 30 each for s blends, l blends, and r blends

    -Blank bugs to write in your own targets

    Easily get to 100 trials with these crafts by practicing each word 5x as you're going through coloring/gluing the first time (50 trials). Once complete, repeat the task with each raindrop they glued on, 5x/word. Another 50 trials for a total of 100 trials!

    SPRING NO PREP LANGUAGE

    •2 Following Directions coloring scenes. Varying levels of 1 and 2 step directions are included. One scene specifically targets basic concepts within the directions. Individual and group data sheets are included for the directions.

    •1 object function coloring page: Raindrop Functions. Use receptively or expressively. Receptive: Describe a function and have students find the raindrop with the correct picture. Expressively: Students pick a raindrop and describe the function of the item pictured.

    •1 Roll and Color Pronoun Page: Roll a die and choose a picture under the number they landed on. Describe the Spring action using a sentence with “he” or “she.”

    •2 Additional Pronoun Pages:Students place a picture card in the box above the girl’s wagon or the boy’s wagon, and practice pronouns with the sentence, “He is pulling a ___.” or “She is pulling a ___.” (Weber articulation cards are great for this!)

    •5 WH Question Pages:Where, What, Who, When, Why Questions: Read a question at the bottom of the page and color the correct item. Each page is specifically geared towards 1 type of WH question

    •4 different types of Bingo Boards for Spring vocabulary

    •Garden Vocabulary: Black and White, 9 pictures — 4 Bingo Boards + calling cards

    •Weather Vocabulary: Black and White, 9 pictures — 4 Bingo Boards + calling cards

    SPRING PLAYDOUGH + DOT MARKER ACTIVITIES PACK:

    6 Spring Playdough Mats: Target general Spring themed vocabulary while you roll playdough balls and smash them onto the pictures. One of the bug-themed mats can be used to target specific insect/bug names, while the other was designed to be more of a reinforcer page. These pages are also great for WH questions!
