Other days I feel mad. I go off like a bomb.
I really don’t like it. I always feel bad
when I’m out of control and mad.
I don’t want to be mad so I’m setting a goal.
My goal is to keep anger under control."
This rhyming social story is about a boy who sets a goal to learn to control his anger. He knows staying in control requires the ability to stay calm and cool so he goes in search of advice. He learns four lessons from things known for always staying cool. He discovers one more lesson on his own when he returns home. Finally, he puts all five strategies together into a plan. He shares his plan so the readers can control their anger too.
This story comes with activity pages which:
