Description
Use this motivating behavior incentive chart on the SMARTboard to promote positive behaviors in the classroom. No need to create a new bulletin board or paper behavior chart, just simply open up the rainbow behavior chart on the SMARTboard at the end of each day. Students love earning their stripes each day and celebrating each others' positive choices!
Directions:
At the end of each day, gather the class in front of the "Reach For the Rainbow" behavior chart. Review the class rules and encourage students to reflect on their daily behavior. If a child shows a thumbs up for good behavior, have him/her come up to the SMARTboard to add a stripe to his or her rainbow. If a child shows a thumbs to the side (because he/she made inappropriate choices) he/she does not earn a rainbow stripe for the day and is encouraged to try again the next day. Each time a child completes his/her rainbow by earning the purple stripe, he/she may pick from the prize jar!
