SMARTboard: 1st Grade Science: Plants and Animals

This is a 1st Grade Science Lesson focusing on Plants and Animals which includes questions with touchable answers, lots of photos and graphics, as well as tons of informational text to support in gaining a better understanding of plants and animals. This particular lesson features information on adaptation including a definition and example as well as informational text, graphics and touchable questions on plant adaptations and animal adaptations. It also includes a critical thinking focus on sharp teeth and safety features. There is also a small introduction on camouflage including a definition, photos and questions. The last two slides feature interactive work with the students focusing on comparing and contrasting as well as vocabulary work.
