Description
This slides are a great way to do an emotional check-in with students. You can use it during your morning meeting, or at any point in the day. Students can share what number they're feeling in that moment, or you might choose to talk about how the animal is feeling and how you know (what does their body language tell us?). To extend, you can also discuss synonyms for common emotions to expand vocabulary.
