Description
This picture book companion pairs with Seeds and Trees by Brandon Walden to support students in their Social Emotional Learning.
Seeds and Trees is a story about a young prince who learns that not every seed that's given to him should be sown. Brandon Walden uses green seeds and dark seeds as a metaphor for positive and negative notions about ourselves. The lesson, "Be careful what you water, for it will surely grow," is beautifully illustrated throughout in a way that children can truly grasp.
