Description

Designed for use with gifted and advanced K-2 students, the activities in this mini-unit are all about creativity with numbers and the power of the S.C.A.M.P.E.R. strategy in innovation and design. The lessons include problem-solving and puzzles that involve substituting and rearranging numbers, a discussion of why number symbols were invented and why, and opportunities for students to practice the S.C.A.M.P.E.R. technique.
