Description

This is a Google sheet with the concepts that should be covered for grades 7-12. I studied several retired SAT tests when I was department chair of our English department of a traditional high school. We needed a plan for what each grade should cover from 9-12. This way, everyone knows what has been covered previously, and how we could build on prior knowledge. I added grades 7-8 upon request.

These are not lesson plans. This is just a Google sheet with 6 tabs for 6 grades covered--vertical alignment of concepts that should be covered and taught at some point for each grade level to best prepare for the SAT test and basic grammar knowledge. This is our department's trusted map for how to prepare kids for every concept covered on the SAT test.
