What educators are saying

We set up a crime scene in our conference room where the principal had "gone missing". The 4th and 5th grade teachers were the suspects and they had to use clues and inferences to figure out who was responsible. They loved it! Such a great way to get everyone involved!
This was the most incredible lesson I've ever taught! I liked that I could edit the slides because ours ended up being the case of the missing chocolate. I added videos of staff interviews and we made a day of collecting our evidence. It was so fun.

Description

Someone has kidnapped the Principal!

Use the physical and written clues plus your inferencing skills to work out 'whodunit!'

YOU decide who kidnaps the Principal and set the clues according to what physical evidence you have available. You can make it as hard or as easy as you want to in order to differentiate for your class.

This set includes easy to follow full instructions, all of the blank templates you need as well as an editable interactive PowerPoint to help keep the process moving. Both a US Spelling and AU/UK Spelling file is included.

My class LOVES this activity and past students still talk about it.

Please download the preview so you can see what's included.
