Description
Get out your RHYTHM STICKS and tell a Group Story with a ‘steady beat’!
There is a 'DANCE PARTY' going on in the jungle!
All the animals have their own special ‘moves’, shown with different rhythm stick patterns. They are trying not to wake The Hippo—but of course they do, with funny results!
Your kids will make some simple Jungle Animal Crafts, to use in topping their rhythm sticks for game play.
This is an ACTIVE GROUP GAME that will move your kids around your classroom—great for a rainy day inside!
This game uses humor, rhyming, and repetitive language to ‘focus’ your kids and keep them involved in the activity. I use this game with my Pre-K – 1st classes, my ESL/ELL kids, and my Speech and Special Education groups. Any kids who benefit from whole-body learning will have fun with this group game!
Five Jungle Animal Templates are provided for the kids to cut out and mount on one of their craft sticks. All you add is a space to move around your room!
