I created this for my students to go along with our Black History month unit. They love creating Ruby and talking about her bravery and courage she had!
Here's what's included:
-Template for Ruby Bridges
-Writing prompt to go with craft (both primary and intermediate lines)
-Creative writing-students will write about what bravery means to them and write about a time they were brave.
-Compare and contrast Ruby's life and yours "Then and Now"
-Describing Ruby Bridges
-ABC order
-Tree map "was, had, wanted"
-Facts about Ruby (I read this to my students before we do the writing craft)
-A mini book about Ruby Bridges (cut along dotted lines and staple together on the left side)
