Rubric and Student-Led Action Plan for Writing

Included is an Writing Rubric for a summative assessment, as well as a feedback guide in the form of an adapted Formative Assessment Rubric and a Reflection for students to complete with an Action Plan on specific areas that will help to improve on their writing in modern or foreign language classes.

I have also included step-by-step instructions on how to use this rubric and action plan.

Students have expressed that they enjoy looking back on these Reflections throughout the year to see how they have improved.

This document gives examples for French learners but can easily adapted for any language learner.
