Rounding Dice Activity using Vertical Number lines 4.NBT.3, 3.NBT.A.1

Do your students struggle to round numbers and/or use a vertical number line? This engaging, print-and-go activity provides students with rounding practice up to the millions place. The premise: Students roll the die the requested amount of times and then use a vertical number line to round their number to the correct place. This activity could easily be played with digit cards or playing cards (omitting face cards).

With this dice-rolling activity, students will practice rounding from the tens place to the millions place. They will use a vertical number line in order to round.
