Rosie's Walk Easy Reader Book To Make & Read - Heidi Songs

"The Hen's Walk" includes the masters and instructions for your students to make this easy reader book based on the classic book, Rosie's Walk by Pat Hutchins! Everything you need to create this book is included, except for a couple of craft sticks for the stick puppets, and a rubber stamp to make the chicken footprints. (I used a peace sign stamp with the circle edges cut off!).

This is a great little project for kids to make and then learn to read during guided reading time! Kids do one page per day, reviewing how to read the book each day and acting it out with stick puppets in literacy centers. We put our books out for viewing on parent night, too!

Includes 28 pages: Instruction pages with completed page examples, all cutting dimensions, and easy reader book masters. PLUS a simplified version for Transitional Kindergarteners!
