Rosa Parks- Black History Month

This resource includes a biography of Rosa Parks written on 3 different reading levels, 1 page of text dependent questions (perfect for class discussion and/or writing prompts) and 1 page for students to complete independantly (using evidence from the article to support their answers).

This resource was was designed to maximize student success since it is offered on three different levels of text and vocabulary complexity. The differentiation is done for you! Students can be given their individual reading levels for morning work, homework or as a center. Use a challenging text in a small group or with your class for a shared reading or close reading experience! This is a great way to increase exposure to rigorous texts!
