Roman Gladiators Unit

This is a short unit designed for Latin students learning about Roman gladiators. Although it is designed for Latin students, the resources are primarily in English and so could be modified to work with a history or social studies class.

- Visual Discovery (intro to the topic where students act as archaeologists, piecing together clues from visual sources; includes a PowerPoint with a slide to print for student notes)

- Gladiator Notes (PowerPoint & student note worksheet)

- Gladiator Games (dice game where students get to be gladiators fighting against each other, gameplay instructions are included in a printout for students and a powerpoint)

- Gladiator movie notes worksheet (short worksheet with historical topics related to the movie Gladiator for students to research before watching)
