Q: Do students need a textbook to use these materials?
A: No, a textbook is not required. This unit is designed to be used with or without a textbook or other curriculum. It can be used as a supplement or on its own. Instead of relying on a textbook, students are building their own textbook with their interactive notebooks that include all of the information they need - vocabulary words and definitions, important concepts, and big ideas.
Q: Are your bundled products meant to be a supplement or a full curriculum?
A: The answer is both. You can use this bundle for your full instructional needs. Lessons are fully developed and ready to used, especially when paired with the Instructional PowerPoints. I’ve even differentiated many lessons to make it easy to accommodate your students with special needs. However, if you only want to use these with a certain population of students or pick out the lessons or lesson components that work best for your needs, the bundle will act as a supplement, too.
